Y’all showed up — and we love you for it.
We asked what you want more of in the Scoop, and the top pick? Volunteer and donation opportunities. Giving back. That says a lot about this community — and we’re all about it.
We’ll be rolling out a section soon to spotlight ways you can pitch in, donate, or help someone in need.
Also high on the list: Pet of the Week / adoptables. So yes — some adorable, adoptable faces are probably on the way too.
Big thanks to everyone who voted — now let’s go build a newsletter that does some good.

No local photos this week—we were at the second happiest place on Earth. Don’t worry- Round Rock still holds the crown! 😄

This new statewide recognition gives a shoutout to all the ways the city shows love to visitors—while also lifting up local businesses and boosting community pride.
Whether it’s the scenic trails, weekend events, or that small-town vibe just minutes from Austin, Pflugerville’s got its own kind of charm. And now it’s official: people want to visit. Can’t blame ’em. ❤️ Read more here.
