The Gist: Round Rock City Council approved land purchases Aug. 14 to expand the city’s public works complex and build Fire Station No. 11. The $1.4M acquisition near the Bob Bennett Complex will support an expansion set for completion by 2029.

A second deal secures land on Seton Parkway for the new fire station, which will also include an 800-square-foot police satellite office.

Why It Matters: With Round Rock growing so quickly, these projects will help keep city services strong and make sure families across our community have quicker access to fire and police support.
