Hard to believe most schools in the area head back next week. Summer always seems to fly by, but this year felt especially fast. Still, we made the most of it. Lazy mornings, pool days, playdates, and more little adventures around town than I can count. And with just a few days left, we’re still squeezing in what we can.

There are plenty of back-to-school events coming up, and we’ll be sure to hit a few. If your kiddos are heading back too, I hope you get a few more summer memories in before the school routine kicks in. Maybe we’ll see you out there!

☕ From Espresso to Espresso Martinis

212 W Main St, Round Rock

Downtown Round Rock just got a serious glow-up. Purely Provisions is a cozy, all-day café where the coffee is rich, the food’s made with care (think: tallow, not seed oils), and the vibe is effortlessly cool.

Whether you're posted up with a laptop, chasing toddlers around the yard games, or easing into a cocktail after dark, this spot flexes with your day. Bonus: it’s open late and proudly local.

🍔 Hutto’s Smashburger King

101 Main St, Hutto

Burger Snobs is turning heads in downtown Hutto with bold flavors and serious smashburger swagger. This little trailer keeps it simple. No fries, no fluff. Just juicy, handcrafted burgers that hit hard.

The smoked brisket burger is already a local legend. Feeling wild? Go for the donut burger, it nails the sweet-and-savory combo. Owner Rhamad runs the show with heart, and it shows. Come hungry, leave converted.
