A Major Development for Georgetown

Georgetown is getting a new master-planned community called Woodside, which will add approximately 1,169 single-family homes near Ronald Reagan Boulevard and State Highway 195. The project, developed by Blake Magee Company, recently delivered its first lots to builders and has already started construction on initial homes.

What’s Included in Woodside

The community will feature two main residential components: about 465 homes in a Del Webb Sun City section and around 704 additional single-family homes. Plans also include commercial development, a church, a public park, an amenity center, low-density multifamily housing, and traditional residential neighborhoods, according to a conceptual land use plan by SEC Planning.

Builders and Home Options

Pulte Homes and Perry Homes are the first builders to begin work at Woodside. PulteGroup expects its first homes to be move-in ready by late summer or early fall. Buyers can choose from 12 floor plans, including both single- and two-story designs, ranging from 1,600 to just under 3,000 square feet. Homes will offer three to five bedrooms, and prices will start in the $400,000 to $500,000 range.

Ashley Ellis, vice president of sales for PulteGroup in Central Texas, noted that buyers will have full customization options at Woodside, from flooring and cabinets to countertops and finishes. “You’re buying a house and building it from the ground up,” Ellis said.

Location and Lifestyle

Woodside is adjacent to Sun City and within Jarrell ISD, providing easy access to major roads including I-35, U.S. 183, State Highway 29, and SH 130. Residents will be minutes from downtown Georgetown, Wolf Ranch Town Center, and other shopping and entertainment options. The community is also planned to include resort-style amenities, walking trails, and green spaces designed for active, family-friendly living.
