We’ve got one month left of summer break, and I’m holding on tight. No camps this year meant long, open days—and honestly, it’s been magical.

The kids invented their own fun (daily stuffed animal birthday parties are now a thing), we said yes to ice cream more times than we probably should’ve, and our afternoons had that slow, timeless feel I know we’ll miss come fall.

It’s been messy and loud and full of heart. We’ll be squeezing in every bit of local fun we can before the school shoes go back on.
