From garage brews to Georgetown favorite
What began in 2013 as two friends experimenting with a dusty homebrew kit has grown into Barking Armadillo Brewing & Coffeehouse, a local hub at 507 Riverbend Dr, Georgetown. Owners Jacob and Bryan turned their passion into a family-run brewery that opened in 2020, quickly becoming a welcoming space for neighbors to gather over good drinks and easy company.
Morning buzz, evening brews
Start your day here with espresso drinks, drip coffee, and pastries, served weekday mornings and until noon on weekends. By afternoon, the vibe shifts to craft beer and casual hangouts, with house-made brews, guest taps, and even a few hand-selected wines. Food trucks rotate through the week, and events like trivia nights and live music keep the space lively. Whether you’re chasing caffeine or craft hops, there’s something on tap.

Barking Armadillo is family- and dog-friendly, with Wi-Fi for remote work, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and a laid-back vibe that makes it easy to stay awhile.
