🏗️ Georgetown on Track to Get a New ‘Main Street’
A Dallas developer, Columnar Investments, plans to build Heirloom, a massive 620-acre mixed-use project in Georgetown. The development will include 3,600 homes—from single-family houses to apartments—plus 200,000 square feet of commercial space, designed to create a second "Main Street" for the city.
They’re investing $100 million and expect to break ground in 2026, building west to east while preserving green spaces and adding extensive trails.
The location? Right near where the new HEB at Ronald Reagan & Ranch Road 2338 is going in, close to Parmer Ranch and Camp Brightside.

🏞️ Hutto Parks Achieve Autism-Friendly Status

Hutto Parks and Recreation is now a Certified Autism Center™, making our parks and events more inclusive for autistic and sensory-sensitive individuals. Staff completed specialized training to better welcome and support all visitors, and the city has added sensory-friendly times at popular events like Touch A Truck and the Tree Lighting.
Hutto is committed to creating a community where everyone can enjoy safe, accessible, and welcoming recreation spaces! More details here.
