Born in Gela, Sicily, Gino Minardi came to Brooklyn in 1957, bringing with him the flavors and traditions of his hometown. Over the years, his journey took him through New Jersey, Florida, and Galveston before he and his family settled in Round Rock. For more than 13 years, Gino’s has been a favorite gathering spot for locals in Round Rock, Georgetown, and Austin. His story is baked into every dish, honoring both Italian roots and the family’s Texas home.
