The Gist: Southwestern University is moving forward with a 560-acre mixed development near its Georgetown campus. planning a 560-acre development right next to campus. We're talking housing, parks, shops, research buildings, maybe even arts and culture spots. They’re calling it SU 560, and Phase 1A alone is 67 acres. That could open by 2027 if it gets the green light.

Why It Matters: This feels less like a campus expansion, and more like a whole new part of town. Georgetown’s already booming. This could make it explode.
