Opening soon at 200 University Blvd, Suite 350, Round Rock, Island Riddim Jerk & BBQ Grill will bring authentic Caribbean flavor to the heart of Central Texas. The menu will feature favorites like jerk chicken, oxtails, and rich curries alongside smoky barbecue dishes. Guests can look forward to vibrant décor, soulful music, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that captures the spirit of Jamaica.
A local dream
Owners Dianne and Wayne Anderson, originally from Jamaica, have called Leander home for the past eight years. After operating a Caribbean restaurant in New Jersey, they are now bringing their love of food and culture to Texas. Wayne will serve as chef, sharing family recipes and traditional island techniques that celebrate community and connection.
Food with purpose
Island Riddim is more than just great food. The Andersons plan to use proceeds from the restaurant to fund scholarships for Jamaican students pursuing education and new opportunities. Guests can enjoy a delicious meal while also supporting a mission that gives back.
