We had such a fantastic Easter. Since we don’t have family here in Texas, holidays are usually just the four of us, but we’ve really come to treasure that in its own way. We make the most of our time together and soak up every little moment. The Easter Bunny was very good to the kids, we dyed eggs, and of course enjoyed our annual Easter Sunday sundaes, which have become one of our favorite traditions. 💧 Round Rock Extends Water Deal
The Gist: Round Rock and Georgetown renewed a five-year agreement for water treatment. Round Rock’s plant near I-35 and Westinghouse Road will keep treating raw water from Lake Georgetown. Georgetown pays a monthly base plus usage fees, generating steady revenue for the city.
Why It Matters: The deal ensures local water needs are met while keeping Round Rock’s treatment plant operating efficiently. Communities benefit from reliable water service and strong local partnerships.
🛣️ Wyoming Springs Extension Progressing
The Gist: Round Rock’s Wyoming Springs Extension is on track for fall 2026, with new traffic signals at key intersections coming soon. The project will connect Creek Bend Boulevard to FM 3406, creating a new route through west Round Rock.
Why It Matters: The new extension should help spread out traffic and cut congestion on some of the area’s busiest roads. Bonus: it’ll also link to the Brushy Creek Regional Trail, adding a win for walkers, runners, and cyclists.
